2018 BigV Men’s Coaches

The 2017 Youth League 1 Men’s Coach of the Year joins the Luina Geelong Supercats, while a rising star of the coaching ranks steps up to a big challenge.

An employment opportunity for originally appointed Youth League Coach Chris Clyne has led to a late change in the leader of our young Supercats for 2018. Former Werribee Devils Youth League Men’s Coach Darren Hindle will lead the Supercats Youth League Men into the new season. Hindle was named Youth League 1 Men’s  Coach of the Year in September at the BigV Awards Night and the club is excited by what Hindle can bring to the club.

After an interview process that focused on how the club could connect our senior men’s programs together, the Luina Geelong Supercats are pleased to announce the promotion of Brenton O’Brien to the position of Head Coach of the Division One Men.

With the changes to the coaching staff, the club has decided to run an additional senior men’s trial to give the coaches a chance to see all players and select and finalise the 2018 Luina Geelong Supercats Mens Senior teams.
